COURAGE
Now that you have decided to change or renew your life. The next move is for you to have the courage to get moving.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. - DT 31:6
When someone tells me they don’t set goals, I challenge them to ask themselves, “Are you holding yourself back? How badly do you want what you want?” Here are some basic steps to help you.
First, the pursuit of your dreams all stems from who you are; what are your values and ideals. Evaluate your freedom, beauty, honor, love, wisdom, family, and health. Ask yourself, who am I and how do I show up? What do I represent? How do I see myself and what do I do? Then, think abundantly, dream big or create a fairytale. Visualize where you want to go. “Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character, they become destiny.” - Frank Outlaw
Success is a journey. Take it one day at a time knowing your purpose in life, planting seeds that will benefit everyone and growing to your highest potential. If what you are doing is not working, it’s time to change. Never complain or explain or use excuses. Start on yourself immediately and do it flamboyantly. Be as creative as you like. Make a poster; cut out pictures from magazines; or use a notebook. Then ask yourself, “What one thing have I done today to achieve my goals?”
Have the courage to move forward.
